This one was shot by Wayne Hoecherl

Number of downloads: 33Wayne is definitely one of the most creative, and capable, Vancouver photographers I know. I happened to drop-in when he was shooting, this image was taken at VPW 'old' studio on 1304 Seymour street. BTW, this image was shot on 8x10 inch film, so the tint is NOT added in Photoshop, but by a technique that used to be called 'Chocolate Polaroid'. Type that into Google and be ready to be impressed. Unfortunately, there don't make this film no more. The 8x10 camera created beautiful shallow depth-of-field. The model and styling are impeccable, as is the lighting which came, in part, from a massive top light (Wayne was shooting multiple strobes through a giant white tarp), One of those images that remind me about everything I loved, and miss, about film. Be sure to take a look at Wayne's site.... |
